ASID Minnesota Makes a Difference
ASID MN Community Service Committee and team recently finished a project for Brittany’s Place, a shelter for girls who are victims of sex trafficking or at risk for sexual exploitation. The project started as a request for a paint color selection and evolved into a redesign of 11 bedrooms, creation of a new lounge room, and updates to the welcome room and the main kitchen/ lounge space. These changes have transformed how the staff and the residents view the space and epitomizes the ASID message, “Design Impacts Lives.” This couldn’t have happened without the designers, IP members, and volunteers who gave their time and resources, and we would like to thank everyone involved.
