Description
Human Centric Lighting for Todays Luxury Home teaches what Human Centric Lighting is and dives deeper into the elements that make it important in design. In this course, we will examine three key elements of Human Centric lighting - quality of light, natural light and personalized control. In addition to this, we will talk through key design considerations and smart technologies, while sharing best practices for human centric lighting designs.
Following the CEU, you will have the opportunity to visit the showroom to fully immerse yourself in lighting technology discussed in the CEU. You will experience the transformation power of light and the impact it has on the people and finishes it illuminates.
Agenda:
9:00am - Sign in, get light breakfast bite/coffee
9:30-10:30am – CEU (CEU is good for 1 LU/HSW and is accredited by both IDCEC and AIA)
10:30-12pm- Q&A along with a tour of lighting showroom to demonstrate concepts discussed in the CEU
Parking:
The MRL parking lot is located on the east side of the building. Main entrance is labeled and located next to the large glass garage door.
CEU Presenters:
The CEU and lighting demos will be given by Molly Lee and Yvette May. Both Molly and Yvette support MRL as members of the residential specification team for Lutron Electronics.
